GRATE SEAL is a specially designed rubber one-way valve to prevent sewer gases, airborn bacteria, soap suds, vermin and noise from making their way out of the drainage system into habitable areas.

Preventing soap suds from making their way out of floor drains prevents injury due to slipping.

A water seal is NOT required for GRATE SEAL to be 100% effective unlike other inferior products.

Grate Seal is manufactured for many applications and is produced from various compounds to suit each specific situation, which makes it durable and resistant to breaking down allowing it be used in a wide variety of applications.

We are in the process of producing the product where additives are included in the polymer for use in the medical and commercial field. The chemical compounds which are being developed by our chemists are designed to reduce the spread of diseases.

The channel has a minimum standard height of 45mm overall. Depth can be varied to allow for fall in channel and the minimum width for the standard outlet is 155mm overall. The standard outlet is to suit 50mm DWV pipe.

The passive fire protection products designed to protect service penetrations are tested using an open/closed format. That is, the pipe is capped on the fire side during the test and is open on the non fire side. When fire testing plastic pipes, 2m of pipe projects out of the supporting construction (wall or floor) and is deemed to be representative of general pipe systems – Soil, Waste and Vent, water supply and reticulation.

At the core of the Allproof passive fire protection product range is the advanced intumescent technology. This enables Allproof to offer products with performance and design advantages for engineers and installers of passive fire protection products. Allproof’s intumescent material expands when exposed to heat and as its volume increases with significant expansion pressure it produces a stable char. The intumescent char formed is a poor conductor of heat, retarding heat transfer and retaining the integrity and insulation of service penetrations through otherwise fire-resistance rated walls or floors.

The Slimline linear drainage channel means that cross cutting tiles into a central floor waste is no longer required.
